Been a really long time since i last blogged yo.

Block leave was great, caught up with friends - old ones, new ones. Did almost all the stuff that i had set out to do. Including revamping the room! Think it looks much nicer right now. Caught all the movies that i wanted to watch - 吓到笑 and GI Joe. Visited Night Safari too. Of which i've always wanted to go.

I must say the guys all look fitter, and eh the girls? Generally erm rounder. Haha.

Yea, movie was nice, cos its been quite a while since i caught a movie. 吓到笑 is like okok i think. Cos quite lame and the CGI effects' pretty fake. But quite singaporean. GI Joe's pretty cool man. Like high tech weapons and gadgetry. And im pretty surprised with the movie outing. Wouldnt have seen it coming like just one week ago. And boy am i glad that a friendship ain't lost. Life's full of surprises. =)

And finally finally caught up with Mr Sim. Played badminton together for the first time in like a couple of years, happy to hear he's goin ASLC too. Sad to hear he's gonna _ _ _ _ _ _ _ . =.= Slacker! But yea, he's still not too bad. Some slick moves here and there. 君子报仇，十年未晚！

Night safari trip was quite entertaining. Went with Jie Bin! Apparently she grew taller and made up for the rest of it with intellectual growth. LOLS. The animals in the animal show was really really cool and cute. But the animals in the exhibit were like boring me out because they were either eating grass, sleeping or AWOL most of the time. Except for the tiger who's like a model. Nice poses here and there. And he's like really handsome with nice fur and bright eyes. And i suddenly feel like working part time in the Night Safari someday. Cos i think its a pretty fun experience. The pay might not be say sky high, but the joy and meaning through interaction with both animals and tourists more than make up for it.

Met up with 4H peeps too. Have to admit Hui Hui's getting prettier! But she's like leaving real soon to Switzerland yo. Aww. So took some photos at Settler's cafe. Good luck and bon voyage girl! Shall catch up again when she's back for holiday. And hopefully she does remember to bring some chocolates back.

Room vamping was pretty tedious in the sense that i have to repaint the room and put up alot of stuff. But yups its done after like 4 days of hard work. And i really feel comfortable and more alive in it now haha.

And yea talking about posting. I'm quite disappointed that i din get posted to CBRD. Eh no, I'm freaking disappointed. Cos i seriously thought i stood a good chance after doing reasonably well for the selection test. So was quite stunned when posted to ASLC instead. And im really really quite interested in the unit, cos i feel its quite unique and would really give me a different NS experience. But haiz, have to accept reality even if i don't like my posting. There also nothing i can do about it, unless i OOC. But i think that's not the right way to do it. So yea, just see how it goes ba.

So yups, booking in again tml. This feeling really sucks. Cos its a long long 13 weeks of many burnt weekends and chiong sua. Im seriously dreading and hating it. I really cherish being a civillian now. Haha. But yea i do understand the need to serve and defend the nation as well. Haiz. No more outings, trips and partying foe the next few weeks i guess, cos it'll be back to precious weekends in which ill most probably spend sleeping and resting every week. (Weekends were seriously goddamn precious to me back in BSLC.)

But yea, i really do look forward to the day when i can don the chevron knowing that i've finished everything despite hating it. Woots.
